To fundraise for the Thirst Project, we highly encourage clubs to host water walks. Consider consulting your sponsoring Kiwanis Club to participate! Simple directions can be found in this graphic.
Here are a couple of indoor fundraiser ideas for the colder season:

The club that donates the highest amount will name the two baby cow mascots for the Nebraska-Iowa District, and the club that raises the second-highest amount will receive priority seating during the Award Ceremony at the District Convention!

Fremont High School Water Walk
A huge shoutout to Fremont High School for hosting our district's first water walk! From this event, they raised $250 for the Governor's project, which aims to provide clean water to communities in developing countries. They walked 3.75 miles, the average distance women and children must walk to access clean water. We encourage you all to host your very own water walk and help bring water to the families and children that need it the most. Special thanks to Claire for organizing this water walk and to everyone who showed up and made it a success!
